HFFF farming
well i learned how to Hfff from the guide here on guru (tyvm whoever wrote it, never would of found out how to do the stairs if it weren't for you lol) and ive learned if you take 2 people with you, its acutally BETTER than any type of farming ive done in months. all you need is 3 heroes and your set. 2x 100g= 200 + the additional 150 you get is 350g a run, and a run is a minute so in an hour or so i can make 25k to 30k, depending on how much you charge, and that is better than spending hours in UW or something, and you can not worry about getting noob rampaged by your team, AND if your in a faction donating guild that pays 5-10k for each 5-10k faction you donate, thats 35-40k an hour, am i right? so a reccommendation to those with holes in your pockets, do hfff for a few hours a day, and you can make a million in 25 hours, spread over a time period of a few days, thats a million gold in a week, so i dunno why people are mad about the so called loot scaling, grab your heroes and go have some fun lol
and i apologize to the people who don't have heroes, this isn't the thread for you
(btw here is the link i used to get started) http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10204774

It does sound "good"... I'd like to try it out sometime. I may go search for that guide, glad you find it to be profitable haha.

Well I don't know about the botting thing but after like an hour straight or hFFF on my Survivor monk, the game just crashes sometimes for me. I usually just hFFF occassionally but it's more fun with live people with you.

repetitive tasks = boring do something useful like work with the time instead . real money >>> gw gold.
i learned today that if there is a big difference more than one > or < is allowed. :P

It is repeatitive and can get boring, but it is easy and can be quite relaxing to do - it's a no-brainer. I learnt the HFFF to get the 10K factions for the befriending quests, so a couple of NF characters can get through Factions. Since it was easy to do, I decided to continue with the Kurzick one to get several skills and a reasonable rank 4. Took me less than a week to get the rank and skills I wanted, and ended up with around 100K gold (I took people along now and again, but just couldn't be bothered to ask for payment). Cash made was a very nice bonus since my aim was the rank and not the gold.

I finally pulled my finger out and tried HFFF - damn it's easy, fast and a great way to make cash...particularly if you have multiple accounts
With 3 accounts i'll earn 450g / 60-70 secs, which should accumulate at a rate of around 25K / hr. By the time i hit r10 (about 243 hours from r4), i'll conservatively have around 6,000,000 in the bank.

This was the one I used, not a complete guide as stated by the poster but it was written well to get me up and running. It may take a few practice runs to get the precise flagging, but it's easy to get the hang of.

Build
Instead of the R/A's or A/R's, i went with 3 x E/A's with [skill=text]Shadow Form[/skill], [skill=text]Storm Djinn's Haste[/skill] and [skill=text]Feigned Neutrality[/skill]. You can also add [skill=text]Dash[/skill] to their bars to speed things up by a few seconds. I have [skill=text]"Charge!"[/skill] or [skill=text]"Fall Back!"[/skill] on my bar. The advantage of this build is the minimum of 22 seconds of +33% speed from Storm Djinn's Haste, so it's more or less set and forget.
Usage
Refer to the PvX Wiki guide for flag locations.
Flag Hero 1 to map location, hit Shadow Form, Storm Djinn's Haste.
Flag Hero 2 to its first waypoint, hit Shadow Form, Storm Djinn's Haste.
Flag Hero 3 to map location, hit Shadow Form, Storm Djinn's Haste.
Flag Devona and Lukas to map location, hit Charge! or Fall Back! to give them an initial speed boost.
Heroes 1 & 3 should hit their target by the time SDH runs out. Use Dash on your Heroes if they aren't there yet.
Hero 2 should be ready and waiting for you at its waypoint within a few seconds of flagging the Henchies to their spot.
Heroes let you know when they hit their flagged location by casting Feigned Neutrality.
Once you see Hero 2 cast, reflag to its second waypoint, hit Storm Djinn's Haste.
Use Hero 1's Shadow Form as a timer - when it's ready to recharge, grab the quest and pick up reward!

HFFF is quicker, easier and can be done solo. If you enjoy PUG'ing or hanging out with guildies, then by all means, go FFF. I'll choose HFFF anyday.

Hmm... Excelent point. Hard to find a guild that pays for faction dumps, but I have been in a few before.

Link was broken. The poster did something wrong.
edit: They probably highlighted the text and copied that, rather than the full url. All I did to fix it was substitute "showthread." in place of "s..." manually.

If I could find a guild that paid for faction donating... I would easily have like a mil already. Wish I could find one. I will have to make my millions the long way, with 100g a drop customers.
By the way, if you can flag hench quick enough and make sure people stay put you can bring only 1 hench to flag to the bridge and they will make it every time as long as noone moves and you flag within like 8-10 seconds of zoning.
Then you get an extra customer spot.

Good job on the profit research... I have been doing HFFF alot just for fun and i find it a great way to make money although i am not in a guild that pays for faction. Another great thing is when people tip you an extra 25-75 gp every so runs. Then if their more kind, they usually give a 100-200 gp tip when they are done leeching off of you.
